Custom Pottery Creation

Commission a functional ceramic piece designed specifically for your requirements. The process begins with a consultation to discuss form, size, intended use, and aesthetic preferences. We create sketches and clay models before proceeding to final production.

Timeline ranges from six to eight weeks depending on complexity. Includes multiple glaze options and two rounds of design revision. Suitable for dinnerware sets, serving vessels, vases, or architectural elements.

Ceramic Art Pieces

Sculptural works exploring the expressive potential of ceramic materials. These pieces prioritize artistic intent over functional utility, investigating form, surface texture, and spatial relationships. Each work is unique and signed.

Glazing Techniques Course

A full-day intensive covering ceramic surface treatments. Topics include glaze chemistry fundamentals, mixing procedures, application methods, and firing atmosphere effects. Students test multiple glaze families on their own clay samples.

Requires basic ceramic experience. Participants should bring bisque-fired pieces for testing. The course includes detailed notes on glaze recipes and troubleshooting common surface defects.

Private Ceramic Sessions

Two hours of individual instruction tailored to your specific goals. Suitable for developing particular skills, working on a personal project, or receiving detailed feedback on technique. Sessions can focus on throwing, hand-building, surface decoration, or glaze development.

Advanced booking required. Students provide their own clay or purchase materials at the studio. Firing services available for an additional fee based on kiln space required.

Advanced Throwing Masterclass

A full-day intensive for experienced potters refining wheel skills. Covers large vessel construction, lidded forms, spouts and handles, and complex profiles. Students work from demonstration and receive ongoing critique throughout the day.

Prerequisites include solid centering skills and ability to throw consistent cylinders. Limited to three participants. Includes all materials and firing for up to six finished pieces.
